GDS Prague Indie Expo 2025

GDS Prague is more than just a conference - we celebrate games and their creators, and we strive to be one of the biggest festivals of indie developers out there!

Our numbers don't lie - over 90 developers have joined us this year to showcase their work at GDS Prague Indie Expo and take part in our many events that elevate indies and their work!

All indie games with an active Steam page are also presented online, in our special Steam Sale Event. This event runs during the festival days and brings extra visibility to the participating teams, and an ability for you to easily discover and wishlist those that you like! Steam is a video game digital distribution service and a social networking service for gamers. Every day 18 million users logs in into the platform, which makes Steam the biggest service for gamers, and a great opportunity for indie game developers to showcase their game, and acquire new customers.

This is a moment for indies to shine! We invite 6 of the best indie teams to participate in the event and pitch their game to a professional audience to get valuable feedback and to boost their presentation skills.

Every developer participating in our GDS Indie Expo is included into the GDS Indie Expo Awards ceremony. The best indie game will be awarded with a grand prize!

The competition takes place in five categories:

• SURPRISE FROM GDS
• BEST TECHNOLOGY

This year every GDS Prague attendee will again get to vote for their favorite indie game presented at the GDS Indie Expo. The votes of the festival attendees will help us choose the finalists in the GDS Prague Indie Expo Community Vote 2025!
